LandAid is the charity of the property industry. It makes grants to other charities to support a variety of projects usually conneted with homelessness. Its support is divided into two main categories: small grants made once a year to projects that require a kick-start for a service or facility that would not otherwise get off the ground, and a major project, currently in partnership with Centrepoint, called "Foundations for Life" - a national initiative to provide life skills and real employment opportunities for young homeless people that will enable them to escape the cycle of dependency.
